Avalon Cleaners on Witchduck rd across the street from the cemetery. ( Aragona) Family owned, doing business since the mid 50's. Originally at Robbins Corner, construction of Independence forced them to relocate to the former shopping center at Independence and Witchduck, had to move to the present location when that was raised. They are worth the hike .
Anyone know or can suggest a place or person who does alterations? I'd greatly appreciate it. I have a bridesmaid dress that needs some seamstress love :)

Steph, I had Zoe's prom dress alterations done at Top Cleaners and Alterations. Was reasonably priced and they did awsome job. Zoe had ripped her dress trying it on.I did see people getting suit alterations when I was there. It is on Kempsville and Greenbrier. Same shopping center as Broken Egg Bistro.
