Does anybody know of a emergency vet around us or a clinic that does emergency visit
Carl C. replied:
There is an emergency vet in Waco. It is located on I-35 at the New Road Exit. It's right there close to the IHOP and Hooters. I've used it before. It's a long way to go but it is the only one I know of so I hope your critter isn't too critically ill. Here is the address and phone number.3901 Interstate 35 Frontage Rd, Waco, TX 76706 Phone:(254) 752-6100 You might call before you go. Hope this will help.
Carl C. replied:
It's called Waco Animal Emergency Clinic. I highly recommend it. I've used it before. They are great with dogs and they treat you very well.
Carl C. replied:
Dr. Holmes in Mexia might meet you at his office. However, Dr. Adams in Teague doesn't have an after hours number to reach her. Therefore the Waco Animal Emergency Clinic might be their best bet unless they can wait until Monday. Yes, it will cost a bit, but if you love your pet you won't care about the cost. There just isn't an Emergency Vet in Mexia.
**Question- not sure if allowed... **
Our dog has just been diagnosed with Parvo at the vet in Temple - He has had 2 shots but not all 3 - They will not treat him...

Can anyone recommend a vet in the Belton area? The couple that is adopting my Sally dog wants a recommendation, but they haven't been here long enough to know who to...
Stacie V. replied:
Sorry if I double post, but it looks like the first one didn't stick. We saw Dr Pittman years ago when we lived in Temple, and she has been a supporter of the ABC Clinic in recent years as a Sunday clinic vet. Can't recommend her practice enough!
Christy M. replied:
Belton Vet clinic saw my dogs, moms dogs, nieces and sisters dogs. And our horses. Did an awesome job. El Centro in Killeen is also awesome. They took excellent tender care of my 16 yr old cat for the last 3 years of his life and my moms 19 year old dog for the last 2 years of her life. Wonderful, kind, knowledgable people at both places.
Leigh H. replied:
Katelyn - MEEE TOOO!!!! Phenomenal couple. She's a lucky little dog... she's the first they're getting, but she's a firm believer in that dogs need a buddy so another is in the cards. Danielle - thanks!
