www.doyourownpestcontrol.com The products are commercial grade. Just get yourself a pumper/sprayer and you're all set. Much cheaper and spray as often as you like. I've found that if you regularly spray, it's more effective than hiring a company.

Vet Chem Siphetrol Plus Fogger will kill them and eggs...all bedding must either be trashed or washed in hot water and you must vacuum afterwards. It takes one or two times for them to be gone.
Heidi B. replied:
We used a fogger with cedar oil. It's all natural and kills fleas, bed bugs, ants, all kinds of things. We even sprayed some of the oil directly on our dog. Also, vacuum every day!! It gets rid of the eggs. We originally got the fogger and oil to help help bedbugs, but have used it on fleas at a friends rental property and worked right away. It's safe for pets and humans. You have to purchase online from Cedarcide.com
Mary S. replied:
Use Frontline Plus on the dogs. You can buy it at Costco or Sam's Club, if you are a member. Then deal with the house. Wash all pet bedding in hot water. Vacuum. Treat the yard. Do it all again in 3 to 4 weeks to end flea life cycle. Use flea treatment regularly on pets.
Jeanne W. replied:
Agree with Diatomaceous Earth, Food grade, you can get in gallon size container, it's a powder. You can sprinkle it and rub on your animals, sprinkle it on the carpets and perimeters of the floor. Let sit overnight if possible, then vacuum it up. Safe for humans and pets, just don't inhale the dust. I've used this before on my little dog and it actually blows the fleas apart! Cedarcide.com is also another go to. Their products are great also.
Ok - sh*t just got real. Woke up to a wolf spider in the bathroom of my bedroom. Which means they're upstairs. Had a ton of them last year, but they stayed downstairs,...

Has anyone had their pest control company spray the yard for fleas/ticks and/or mosquitos?
Does it work?
Tammy S. replied:
Some one I know has tried it, said it worked for a little while..I worry about the chemicals. For long term control try a bat house, you can either buy- or build . A single bat can eat up to 1,200 mosquito-sized insects every hour, and each bat usually eats 6,000 to 8,000 insects each night.Their appetite for mosquitoes certainly makes a backyard more comfortable. Bats benefit everyone and it eliminates the thought of poisoning all the other beneficial insects.. as well as your kids.http://www.motherearthnews.com/nature-and-environment/control-insects-bat-habitat
