Wife is looking for Dansko shoes, anyone know best selection and cost? We used to buy them at Cameron village but store is gone. Walking company is too high.

REI has them on sale now. If you know her size look at Amazon.com. I have found them for as low as $35-$40 on there if you aren't picky about color/style. They are the only shoes that don't make my back hurt.
Ericka M. replied:
Gary Itenson she might want search for the brand Sanita. They were once part of Dansko and split off but they are the same shoes just larger sizes. I wear them and they are exactly the same as Dansko.

Custom Suits/Tailor? Hey all,
I've reached the point in my life where I'd like to get a real, "nice" suit instead of off-the-racks at Macy's like I've had forever....
go_ninja_go replied:
For under $1000 you'll probably want to get something off the rack or order it online and then get it tailored. I personally like Joseph A. Bank. Suit Supply is also good, but the closest one is in DC. I personally can't recommend any tailors in the area because I haven't found one that I really like yet - no one really understands what European cut is supposed to look like. [Liles at North Hills](http://www.lilesclothingstudio.com/) has an excellent selection of suits, but is probably out of your price range. I plan to get my next one from them. Considering their penchant for quality, I can only assume they do excellent tailoring as well.
lilelliot replied:
You won't get "custom" for
MrSoprano replied:
If you can find one nearby, or feel like making the trip to a Suitsupply store, you will not regret it. Their in house tailoring and CS is top notch. Got a suit there for my wedding and will go back there for my suit needs.

So i know you want to do locally, have you ever tried http://www.itailor.com/ ? I did them for my wedding and that suit was primo. I basically went to http://leestailors.com/ (in crabtree mall) tip'd em 20 bucks to get accurate measurements and then ordered online for 270 bucks shipped (when i priced the same fabric/styles it was 1 k at macys) Born and raised an raleigh totally appreciate you want to support the locals, but when you can save that much money you might want to rock out with your online shopping out.
Ron_Sayson replied:
I've bought a couple of suits at Brooks Brothers outlets. They have one in Mebane. I think your first suit should be dark blue. It's classic and you can wear it anywhere. You should wear it to interviews. Your second suit should be grey. If you're wearing n the South, you can also get a summer suit in something like poplin. Finally, seersucker suits, I love the fabric. It never wrinkles and it's cool in the summer. It's use in business is tricky. I wear it to meetings with people who already know me and never when I'm talking to executives.

You don't have to go all the way to Raleigh. Run N Tri can help you. They won't try to push you into buying the shoe they think you need. They'll listen to you. Fleet Feet is great too, but there's no need to go so far. At Sole Dimensions, I felt pressured into buying orthotics my feet ultimately didn't like, and then it was like they were trying to convince me I'd ruin my feet without them. I didn't like the pressure. YMMV.
