It all comes down to money. I use to buy alcohol for a Restaurant in OH, we were designated a certain location to buy from (grocery store). wholesale price since it was for a business and you had to pay back sales tax on it every month to the IRS . Here in NC you pay taxes when both at AB, full price no matter the quantity additionally, Sales tax from every single drink you sold has to be paid back to the IRS. Is doubling taxes and getting their well cut out of it.
