Aww. I love Dr. Delapaz! I've been going to him for about 10 years. I tell ya when Jordyn was crashing and I needed an emergency c-section there wasn't anyone else I'd have rather had caring for me. He really is great. But, I believe he is retiring in about 3 or 4 years. He told me back when I had Jordyn that if I wanted him to deliver my next one that I had about 10 years and then he was done. She just turned 6 so do the math.

I couldn't find one I liked in the SoMD area. I drive all the way to Annapolis for mine. I had the opposite experience with Dr Polka. Didn't like her at all. She told me not to even consider getting pregnant because it was going to make all my pre-existing conditions worse. She was hesitant to even take out my IUD. Two healthy babies and one easy and one only slightly complicated pregnancies later, clearly she was wrong!

I have Dr Mitra in the women's medical center in Calvert. She also has a Solomon's office. I don't have kids but I've been going to her for 10 years now and she always remembers what's going on with me. Keep in mind I haven't lived in MD since 2010 but I still go see her when I go home.

Dr Mitra definitely! I saw an OB in St Mary's and he had FOUR due dates for me & at every appointment would measure my belly (which was tiny) and would constantly push me back weeks. Dr Mitra at calvert memorial took me at 34 weeks and I loved her!

Check out Dr. Hubayter, in Prince Frederick. Awesome guy, younger, considerate, comforting. And VERY Intelligent. He doesn't leave anything to chance if he suspects something might be not quite right he will figure it out however possible. Very to the point and open, worth a visit in my opinion.
