Ive been thinking the same thing. They did finally send us to Mott Blair in wallace, his office is at Vidant Family Medicine. They saw my 8 yr old, who had been waiting since Feb for Dr Elizabeth Blair. He was amazing. Ive been thinking of switching too. although i have heard they are trying to get another pediatrician to work with Dr Elizabeth Blair in her office to help out. She will be back in August but Im sure she is so backlogged it will take forever to see her even when she gets back

Take mine(5 and 17) to Duplin Co Health Dept. They have a full time pediatrician, Dr. Griffin, and she's wonderful along with the staff. My 5 year old has seen her at every visit since she was born. There is sometimes a wait but you get the same attention as the last one if needed. Also the health dept is state regulated and sometimes have to abide by stricter standards and regulations. I highly recommend them.

Her brother Mott Blair is amazing! They will see you if you tell them you were her patient. I highly recommend him. He diagnosed my sons chickenpox when everyone else said it was something else. They are awesome there

Don't go to goshen! Mott Blair is amazing but kids I think have to be of a certain age...

He is a family physician so he sees them from birth to adulthood. We have seen Elizabeth Blair for two years and we saw Mott three times and I switched him immediately. Please don't go to fisher, they are a joke!

What about Dr.Crawford? He's in the same bldg.

My girls always saw Dr Carr at CMC. But Garrison sees a female pediatrician. Her name is Dr Bailey. She's awesome. But she's at Mt Olive Pediatric. Garrison LOVES her and she is so good with him. Has little ones at home still so she is very patient

We saw Dr. Elizabeth Blair when she had her peds office in Greenville and absolutely loved her!!! She now has a practice in Kenansville and is linked to Vidant Health. We haven't been to her practice since she moved to Kenansville as we changed peds due to the distance. I was very upset when she decided to move back home but I understand the reasoning. I would highly recommend Dr. Blair and the distance is shorter than traveling outside of the county.

Dr. Blackstone at Café Fear Peds. He is wonderful!! My oldest went until he was 17 and they still want to go back and visit. He has/had 5 children of his own (One past away from the flu a few years ago.) and really listens to the mothers. We have always loved him!!

Pediatric Center in Wilmington. Dr.Edwards. Small......right near the hospital......younger and very knowledgeable. LOVE THEM! Wish they were in here in Ohio!

We also love The Pediatric Center. I picked them because I was tired of being one in a million with my OB. I wanted a small practice. They know us and we know them. They have four doctors, whom we love. Don't even have a preference, they are all so good.

The Childrens clinic Wilmington.....Dr. Archer! Love him! He has taken care of all 3 of my babies! He's the BEST!

Cape Fear Peds (Offices in Hampstead and Wilmington)... We see Dr. Pollock usually (LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS MAN!!)... but the whole practice is great and they ALWAYS work us in if we think our babies need to be checked out (no matter what), very thorough and take ALL parents concerns into account, don't just treat with an antibiotic for things that are VIRAL (which is awesome, because a lot of docs shove meds at children, and our babies little bodies build up tolerance to medications that they really don't need.. next time needing something stronger or potentially exposing them to a medication that they could be allergic too when they don't need a med in the first place).... AND they admit at New Hanover when and if needed (so they are the docs that see you baby, and not some random hospitalist). Also--- 24 hour help line, nurse always on call, and they ALWAYS follow-up for a check-in if you call after hours.

Also.... Goshen in Wallace now has Dr. Gaylord (formerly of Cape Fear Peds) and she is one of the most patient and thorough physicians my children have EVER seen. Parker LOVED her, and we were so sad to see her leave.

Dr. Caryn Bowden at Wilmington Health North chase is the greatest!

We stalk (I mean, see) Dr. Noah Archer. Absolutely awesome! But there are several at The Children's Clinic that are wonderful!

We just moved from Durham not too long ago and heard of Dr. Horger at Seaside Peds. We love him. He's great with my timid 4 year old and gentle and thorough with my 4 month old. Nothing but good things to say about him!
