I go to Dr. Slocumb in Macon at Women's Specialty care- if anything goes wrong they will send you to medical center in macon so might want to just start there anyway. don't want to be separated from baby.

I have heard of some horrible experiences with Dr. Lafferty, but in my case if it wasn't for him, my daughter and myself would have both lost our lives.

Dr. Wright@Women's Health Care (& the whole team really) did an excellent job on my pregnancy & delivery. Things got a pretty hairy with my bp & baby's heart rate & she handled things very well. It could have gone way left. I'm sorry for the person who lost her twins.

Dr Hall is worth the drive to Macon! He's right at coliseum and they are wonderful!! They make sure you and baby are safe and do whatever is necessary to keep you and baby safe. LOVE the group at OBGYN Specialists of Macon! Wonderful staff!

If your insurance covers the Medical Center in Macon, I highly recommend having your baby there! Excellent service and food and there is a photographer that will come to you that works through that hospital. Dr. Harper is the best OB ever, that man is like my family! He was there for me every step of the way with my first pregnancy. He takes his time with you and truly cares about his patients. My insurance no longer covers the med center or dr. Harper, I am heartbroken and have no idea what I'll do when I'm pregnant again.

I use Womens speciality care in Macon. Dr. Slocumb is who I use but they have 3 other doctors also

Dr. Allison Wright. She is in Warner Robins at Womens Healthcare. She and Jennifer the midwife gave me a great experience with my first child. I had a vaginal delivery...successful & healthy baby! Was a high risk pregnancy! Love her!

Dr Roddenberry actually there are 2 of them Eric and Paul. But they are in Macon at the Coliseum Hosp. Wonderful group ! Very fun and caring ! Myself and my daughters and friends use that group ...worth the drive to Macon ...!!!!

If you are not on Medicaid .. Try dr Teresa Luhrs in Macon

Houston Medical Center is AWESOME! All three of my kids were delivered there from 1997 to 2013. They have only gotten better. I live in Macon and refuse to have my children at the Macon hospitals

Dont go to Dr Wright

I am going to Dr. Laffertys, seeing Ashlie next week. I had two doctors say they wouldn't take me because I was 18 weeks along, over in Macon. We have excellent health insurance, so I don't know what their issue was but I called Dr. Laffertys office and they scheduled me an appointment no problem!

Holly Cross at physicans for women! She is the best!!! I couldn't ask for a better midwife. Patient, understanding and most of all she respects her patients and tries to make sure you get everything you want.

Dr. Lafferty was the best OBGYN that I used. Dr. Shaker, at physicians for women, bedside manner was horrible and he made me feel very uncomfortable.

Dr. Mark Lafferty is really well & his staff in my eyes. 478-922-2229

First baby four years ago she delivered of ours she kept me alive, bled out terribly needing blood transfusions if it wasnt for her and quick responding I could have died. Our second daughter was born in January when it was push time everyone of my support team was out the room taking a moment but I felt that baby wanting to make way I screamed bloody murder for help over the nurse call. Nurses came in it was lights and action time only to be told Dr. Wright was headed home for a nap, I had not seen her my entire pregnancy. They let me know she was being called back to deliver. This woman made it in time and I felt every bit of child birth. Finally baby was safe and healthy however again I had problems bleeding. She quickly got me put to sleep and controlled then stable. I woke up with oxygen on my face and had no clue what happened until the next day I was told. I walked around fine and well. She saved me twice on top of discussing post partum before my checkup. I love that woman. I would not be here if it wasnt for her and the womens center!!! Importantly her and amazing she remembered me four years ago due to all the commotion after first child birth:p

I have been seeing Dr. Wright since I was 17 and I'm 34 now. She did my c section with my son back in 1999 and did a amazing job! Barely have a scar!! I just love her. She's so sweet and very gentle with Pap smears
