Yes! A great guy did our roof and half the kitchen remodels on the block Eric Edlund 313 231 3979. Ours was a tear down and a different pitch on the back addition. I think we maid around $5,000 , or maybe it was six. He does a lot of work in Grosse Pointe but also in Ann Arbor --he will go anywhere, more or less.

Not sure how big your roof id but that sound high depending on the size. I had part of one (a flat roof) redone over the summer but they took too long and kept up with excuses fo they were not showing up. About a week turned into 2 months. On the other hand I have heard good things about Mr. Roof, but I have never used them. My pitched roof was done 6 years ago with a complete tear off, wood replacement etc. by First Choice Roofing. they did a good job for me at considerably less than your quote.
