Tri COunty is D'Agostini right? called there explaining my sons food is black and blue and swollen...she can put him in on the 14 th..well, that doesn't work..have an appt for Tues with Dr Hiromoto? in Bridgewater..a few recommended him..Laurie will call Dr Boretz..if I can get him in sooner and they take my isnurance..will switch..thanks all!

Sounds bad! Have you taken him to an emergency room or urgent care place? I'm sure if you call Food & Ankle Center (Dr. Thiele) they could see you right away. They are very good like that for emergencies. There are multiple offices. I wish you and your son much luck!

Is there anything specific that you need? Some have specialties that you may want to stick with - i.e. sports medicine, hand surgery, foot and ankle, knee, etc. I have a foot and ankle surgeon/specialist that is amazing, very thorough, an all around nice person, but that wouldn't help you if you were having an issue with your hand. I've also seen an ortho at Summit Medical group, who was very good and came highly recommended.

I think one of the best orthopedists around is Dr. Alan Sarokhan in Warren. I used him for 22 years, for all of my sons' various athletic injuries while they were growing up (and they played a lot of sports!), and various issues I had through the years. I would still be using him today, except that my insurance really financially precludes me from using Dr. Sarokhan. He doesn
