Well it's a little west of BH and Westfield, but Alfie's in Warren has the best food of any BYO place I've ever gone to in NJ.... A&G Italian Fine Food

Aquaviva in Westfield, Chez Catherine in Westfield. Love Limani in Westfield, Theresas in Westfield is also always good. Pairings in Cranford is supposed to be great too but I haven't been there. A Toute Heurre in Cranford. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
