Izabela Lizon it is Lakeshore cooperative nursery school and yes they are awesome too, but they are about to finish programming at the end of June unless they changed things this year. I sent my son there when he started getting territorial with me and the day care children as a toddler and then he stayed as through till he started JK this past year. Teacher Julie and Teacher Julianne are awesome ladies.

FacebookHi! Welcome to the area Christina! I am a home daycare provider in the area. I live just around the corner from Northlake Woods Public School. I’m on Bushview Cres.. I have raised 3 kids of my own (3 girls now 15, 17, and 20), and I have been providing home daycare for many years. I provide care for children ages 2 and up. I also pick up school aged kids after school for after school care. I have a large fenced in yard with a climber and swings, enclosed trampoline and we put up a small pool in the summer. I have lifejackets for toddlers. Feel free to give me a call to discuss care for your son. Thanks, Teryl Ferrede 519-746-1491rtferrede@sympatico.ca

Unfortunately I need the September contingent to have their birthdays before i could take another ratio wise. Wee Watch is definitely one way to go, I do have a blog post about what to look for when looking at home day care and day care centres I can post the link to if you are interested.

if you're looking for something part time, Northlake Nursery is a great place. It's a co-op program that involves parents helping out. The idea is that kids go for the morning and socialize with other preschoolers. It's next to the church by the Golden Eagle street and Northlake I think. I'm not sure how old they have to be, I think 2.5? But perhaps they need to be older or can be younger. Something to look into, affordable and a great program.

Not sure if she is licensed or not, but Jody Shantz in Wallenstein is AMAZING! (Not sure if she has openings) Her email is jodyshantz89@hotmail.com She does so many activities and outings with the kids. AND feeds them healthy hot meals. She has a couple people who work with her. My kids loved her (and still do!) and so many of my friends and family have taken their kids to her as well. She really is great! smile emoticon

Closer to home you have both Conestoga located at Driftwood Park P.S. or Owl at John Sweeney catholic school both are an actual daycare but are wonderful. My daughter attended both. If you're looking for three mornings a week, Lakeshore Co-op Nursery school is presently accepting registrations for the fall. Check out our website: lakeshorenursery.com It's a great school! (I might be a bit biased though, being one of the teachers. lol)

I have a home childcare with openings on Monday and Wednesday. However, if Nursery School would work for you I would suggest that. My own children attended Lakeshore Co-op for years and it was wonderful.
