Hotels with best kid-friendly pools are Comfort Suites and Country Inn & Suites - both have free breakfast and are on north end of town. Other good kid-friendly pool areas at Ramkota on South 3 rd St by the mall (but I don't think they have free breakfast) and Baymont Inn & Suites in Mandan (not sure about breakfast).

Baymont Inn in Mandan if you have small children. They have a whole room off to the side geared for small kids. And one big slide in the main pool. Comfort Suites has two pretty big rooms with a few slides and a splash pad and micro slide for toddlers. Plus you can fit 6 people in their rooms.
