The Fix Is In is fantastic!

Check out the website thfixisin.org they look to be having a clinic in Wausau on the 4 but that could be full by now or two upcoming ones in Medford. They are a great service:)
Looking for recommendations for a Vet & Groomer. I heard there was a lower cost Vet in the area but can't remember the name.
Leah R. replied:
Wausau Animal Hospital we have gone to but I really can't price compare save for Mosinee Vet and they are outrageous. As for groomer we have used PetSmart. They have some pretty nice groomers in there.
Lori L. replied:
Brenda at Petsmart Grooming is awesome!!!
Sally J. replied:
Katz n Barkers for grooming, they don't kennel during waiting period, and Wisconsin Valley Vet is cheaper than Wausau Animal Hospital
Kim F. replied:
Birnamwood vet!! The only place i go. Excellent service and GREAT pricing!!
Emily F. replied:
https://metroanimalhospital.vetstreet.com/ has great prices, we have cats, but I know they have very good prices for dogs, too.
Jamie K. replied:
I recommend Birnamwood Vet.
Jamie R. replied:
We love Kronenwetter Vet, can't say where they stand on comparable prices as we go for the service. For groomer Katzenbarkers or Nicole's Groom Room.
Wondering if anyone can recommend a really good vet in the Wausau area that charges a reasonable price we want to take our kitten in for his first kitten check

Dr.Dennis Griffin does small animal clinics accrossfrom Willow Springs Garden on HillcrestDr Tues nights around 6 pm. I can never remember the exact time, but they have more info at 715.675.1171. We really like him.
I recently moved to the town of Stettin from Hatley. I am in search of a new vet for my cat. I love the birnamwood vet, I just can't justify driving that far anymore.
Joan K. replied:
I use Kronenwetter Vet Care. Several doctors to choose from and they have always been extremely helpful and they seem reasonable. Kronenwetter may be a bit of a distance for you from Stettin, but you can fin a Vet you like it might be worth the extra miles. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Kronenwetter-Veterinary-Care/131462593622678?ref=ts&fref=ts
Jean R. replied:
Stettin is closer to the West side vets. Many people like Wisconsin Valley vets. I've used them a few times, and it would be quicker for you (up 28 th to Hwy U or maybe some other route ) All you can do is try them and see. Not everyone gets along with their Vets or their prices. And "reasonable" always depends on what you can afford to pay.
Opinions on different veterinarians in the area? Good or not so good. Thanks in advance!

Dr Chris at Kronenwetter is the very BEST!

Another vote for Kronenwetter Vet Clinic
Kacie S. replied:
We love Dr. Katie at Kronenwetter. She takes care of all 4 of our kids and recently saved our 10.5 yr old from a scary infection. She's diligent, takes her time, cries with you and celebrates with you.

Dr Nikki at Kronenwetter is great!
Matt H. replied:
Agreed Leah. My pups first exam was very reasonable. They're in line for everything but personable and honest.
Looking for recommendations for a good veterinarians office in the Wausau area.
Natalee A. replied:
Wisconsin valley vet, near fleet farm and near sound world in Wausau. It's not the fanciest of all vets for sure, but they have the most ressonable prices around. Dr. Mysyka is great too!

We use Kronenwetter Vet, they are fantastic. I will admit they are pricey at times but we are very happy with the care they give us. I have heard great things about Birnamwood and they are less expensive. Groomer - Katzenbarkers or Nicole's Groom Room.
