Chiropractor: Can anyone recommend a good chiropractor in or near Webster?
Michael S. replied:
Brenda Matthews.Go to Brett Phillips at Muscle Maintenance in E. Rochester 586-3390.....it might take a while to actually get him personally, but believe me it's well worth it. A good massage therapist will fix the problem and show you exercises to avoid further issues. Do yourself a favor and see a massage therapist before you even consider a chiropractor.
Barbara A. replied:
Goshorn Chiropractic and Wellness Center on Ridge Road, Webster. You'll thank me. They are fabulous! Gentle yet effective. http://goshornchiropractic.com/
Karla C. replied:
I go to Dr. Christine Dargout in Greece off of Latona... just started going to her in November and has been amazing. My husband even switched to her ( he said she has done things his chiro has not ever before)
Zeid N. replied:
Goshorn Chiropractic on Ridge Road is the BEST. Extremely intelligent, they know various techniques and have helped me immensely.
Jacqueline, my headache issues are often caused by my profession, but there are probably other reasons too, and believe it or not they are often cured in one treatment. I can go several months without seeing a Chiropractor, and then suddenly desperately need one. My problem is usually taken care of in 1 or 2 visits. What I didn't like was being told to come in beforehand (with NO headache), getting an adjustment, and then getting the most horrific migraine from it. I went in feeling great and left feeling like something was wrong and then getting the migraine. I have NO issues whatsoever with Dr Quatro. He gets rid of my headaches when they come, always sees me when I need him, and there is no pressure to schedule when I don't have a problem. Dr Lazzaro is very nice and very knowledgable, just wasn't working for me.
Kelly L. replied:
Peter Blanco - not at all they worked together to come up with the best possible plan for me. The reference to the best possible Dr is one that YOU, yourself feel best communicating with. Some people and some doctors it is hard to communicate with. It has nothing to do with the type of profession. I'm sorry you misunderstood. I have a whole slew of Dr.'s/Surgeons for that particular reason. The ones that communicate best and are able to explain to a patient and understand a patients dilemas are the right fit. I may like Dr. Goshorn, but there are some people obviously that don't. There is nothing wrong with that. Not every one is going to have the same experience, everyone is unique. I fell in the 10% of failed back surgeries for my surgeon. Does that make him a bad Dr./Surgeon. No. I did shop around for opinions to make sure the next step is the right one.
Rachel S. replied:
Brittany Brittany Reneé Vandemar, I never said they "made me come in", but there was a lot of strong encouragement to. I'm sure they meant no harm, I just lost my trust in them after this happened 3 times. I started to wonder why on earth I was paying good money to get a migraine, and the 3 rd time it happened I was expected to pay again to get rid of it. I know they are good Chiropractors at Goshorn, they just didn't seem to always have my best interest in mind and I lost trust. Dr Quatro has never failed me yet.

Rachel S. replied:
Dr Quatro is great and also doesn't keep having you come back over and over again, maybe twice. I liked Dr Lazzaro@Goshorn until I started to feel like he was just trying to get me to come in a lot. I have an issue with migraines and he would try to get me to come in when I didn't have them, but then I would get one from the adjustment. The last migraine he gave me lasted 3 days and the office did not offer to see me for free since he had given me the headache. I refuse to pay to have him get rid of a migraine that he gave me in the first place. I find Dr Quatro to be a lot more trustworthy.
Kelly L. replied:
Dr. Goshorn recommended a plan and budgeted it for me as I worked with the Orthosurgeons for my back issue when I finally got my MRI, he took the time to sit with me and go over it. Chiropractors being the most anti-surgical drs out there, recommended I have the procedure done and explained a little more to me about it. I guess the best Dr. is one that you can openly communicate with.

Lauren L. replied:
I saw Dr. Burton for shin splints go see him!
Lauren L. replied:
Yes and no. I have learned a lot about running injuries over the past year and Dr. Burton has helped but the key has been patience which as a runner is a very difficult concept! You have to not run when you are told to not run. You have to have the right shoes. You have to listen to your body when it gives you pain. All of these things took me a long time to learn, I ran when I shouldn't have. I got shin splints when I did too much too soon. I got plantar fasciitis for having the wrong shoes. Bottom line.....I saw professionals and stopped running when I was told to. I cross trained and am back to running stronger than ever.
Please help!! Does anyone know of a good prenatal acupuncturist or chiropractor?

I've worked for Goshorn for 12 years, and Dr. G has been my chiro since 1991. There are no contracts, you can use your insurance. Insurance companies have a negotiated rate, that means you can only be charged what they what they allow. Please feel free to give the office a call and we would be happy to answer any questions for you!
Jerry S. replied:
I would look to a more traditional chiropractor. I felt like I was at a drive thru at McDonald's. It was a waste of money. I would never prepay for treatments with a contract. Check out this site, https://www.chirobase.org/07Strategy/contracts.html. I go to http://www.spinedocs.net/, Dr Quatro. Fantastic guy.
