People don’t realize the dangers of acrylic installation and maintenance. I love them. I’ve worn them off and on but mostly on for well over 15 years. Very important due to damaged nails and infection to only go to a reputable nail tech person. Price sadly is often an indication of a poor nail tech. Often we get what we pay for. Salon Enza in Penfield is not all that pricey although I haven’t comparison shopped. The nail techs are great at least the one I saw and another. Ask how long they’ve been doing nails. These woman have been for over 10 years. I never once had nail damage or infection.

I've used Max Nails for years. Love Mikey, but lately I use Anna and she is fabulous! When she does my gels, they stay on well over three weeks!

I've been to DJ Nails and CNY Nails, both are in Webster. We always liked DJ Nails, went there for years, but the last few times we went there was a funky, dirty odor. That's when we tried CNY Nails and it was nice there but we kept getting the worst nail techs. One lady was so rough... she kept twisting my friends ankle. (my friend broke her foot and it never healed right) And she continued to do it even after we let her know that she was hurting her. With that said, I appreciate all your suggestions... I'll check them all out.:)

Pro Nails does gels last 3-4 weeks. Customers wear gels at Pro Nails does not need to take off for break because the gels they do are hard and strong like acrylic. I strongly recommend you should try at Pro Nails in BayTowne Plaza.
