Can anyone recommend a decently priced Veterinarian?
I have recently taken in a "semi-feral" 8 year old cat who's owner had passed. He was the victim of a hoarding...
Allison J. replied:
Dr Ker@Thorold Animal Hospital. Half the price of any vets in Niagara smile emoticon
Lynda G. replied:
Thanks Allison Jane for that info as i have two cats that need dental work. Even though i have a vet, i will call Dr. Ker and get a price.
Lynda G. replied:
Dr. Boctor is a kind vet as well, but am unsure of the prices, at one time less, but might hve gone up a bit now.
Candace S. replied:
If you are willing to drive to Simcoe - Queensville Animal Hospital has the cheapest prices around!
Sue E. replied:
Contact Prince Charles Vet in Welland and talk to Dr Momi

I second Dr Ker. don't live that way anymore but when I did I took my rodents to him. was always pleased.
Jessica H. replied:
Prince Charles animal hospital is always reasonable and compassionate.

We use Dunnville Veterinary Clinic . They have been my vet for 15 years and I can't say enough good about them. We are in Port so it's a bit of a drive but well worth it. We have a cat with an extreme over bite that had to have two teeth pulled and they performed his surgery.
Sarah H. replied:
Thorold Vet Hospital - Least expensive one I have found, I use them personally and they're awesome.
Allison W. replied:
Lynda Gordon Just found out that Thorold vet will not give a quote over the phone!
Allison W. replied:
sue Sue Ethier yep!
Lynda G. replied:
Allison Woods, try calling a few places and get an estimate..for one tooth it might be a little less at some vets. In this price are they including blood work etc? Call the Welland Humane Society for phone numbers of any local animal rescue groups in your area that might be able to help with even $100.00 towards the surgery. If you are from St. Catharines, you can try the Animal Assistance Society of Niagara. St. Catharines Animal Hospital on Welland Avenue, call there also for an estimate. Sorry i dont have the numbers off hand. Most importantly, thank you for caring enough to take a cat in to care for him and provide companionship and a safe place to live.
