Anon- can you ask at your next check up? If you can, try to stay in hospital until you are breastfeeding happily (if you choose to breastfeed). I think most hospitals have a short stay for uncomplicated deliveries, but I don't know how well it's enforced. The community midwifery service is a great place to go for advice: http://thebumpwa.org.au/
