When I did the rehab on our West Allis house 18 years ago we used Country Cabinetry out of West Bend. They build their cabinets in house and do installs all over SE WI. Good solid wood doors, melamine interior shelves and steel drawer sides. I'd check them out again if I was doing a kitchen. They were a little more expensive than the factory made crap but you get what you pay for. I'm sure you know this but with any contractor check them out on BBB before you sign anything. http://countrycabinetry.com/index.html
