Anyone remeber Tony's pizza place in West Jeff ? That place was good.

I can only say, she must have sold it earlier than you can remember. I had friends working there and at the doughnut shop mid to late 70's and the Ulrey's owned it then. They did not like Wayne Ulrey.

Are you thinking about Tonni's?....My grandmother Myrtle Higgins Goforth owned it. She made the best dough. She was the grandmother of WJ pizza. I used to go with her to the wholesale food supplier and buy cheese, sauce and meats. It was back behind main street in the Quanset hut style building...swinging screen door...beautiful pizza smells drifted out of that place. She sold it in the late 70 s when she retired....it eventually became Cappy's or Flyers through a name change. Chad Higgins

Story is the name came from my grandmother's 2 nd husband (Howard Goforth) granddaughter's name...Tonya....grandma Myrtle formerly owned a restaurant and bar called The White Kitchen....which eventually became The Drift Inn. She was a fabulous cook.
