The Fire Brigade should have advised you before they left the scene if it is safe as you have a shared chimney breast. If this did not happen contact Dorset Fire & Rescue giving them your address/neighbours address as it will be logged and the inciden t should have been written up with the outcome. So they should be able to advise you over the phone. (Hubby dictating as he is a full time Firefighter). Hope this helps x
