For alterations, Vee Tailor is good, near the West U PO, in the Randall's shopping center. They also make things, but I have never had them do so. Make sure you see Tam, the owner. Her sister does not speak or understand english, and she won't listen to your instructions. I'm serious. She has her own agenda. Tam is awesome, though.
