Horse boarding in CT? Hey Guys,
I'm currently helping a friend find a place to keep her horse as she is moving. The horse is currently in North Stonington and I need to...
HRzNightmare replied:
Depends what area you want the horse in. There are a ton of barns east of the Thames that offer full and rough board of board options. I was always amazed at how much equines move their horses around between different barns. My ex moved her horse every couple of years. The personalities in the equine world really run the full spectrum. She lived in New London but most recently kept her two horses in Canterbury in rough board.

Oakendale farm has brand new facilities and the staff/owners live breathe and sleep horses, your horse would be in good hands.

No shortage of places to board in Connecticut. I would recommend Chester Hill Farms in Trumbull.

There are two places on the street I live. Shouldn't have much trouble I think :)
