I am really looking to stay close to home (within a couple of miles) There are so many dentist offices (at least 3 within walking distance) around here that I am hopeful that we will find someone that is only a few minutes away. Maybe then it won't be such a big deal if I can't get appointments at the same time. Thanks for all the suggestions.

We go to Livonia Family Dental. Straight shot up Middlebelt just north of 5 mile! We just moved there a year ago from the dentist right by Happys Pizza and we couldn't be happier! Dr. G Is awesome, the staff is amazing and the kids love that they can play wii while we wait! LOL

I take my kids to Dr. Farah Khan. Ford rd and Hanford. Number is 734-254-0786. They are great there. Took my 6 yr old who freaks out at the dr and my 1 yr old and they were so calm and the staff is so patient. Its a pediatric dentist. The kids also have Midwest Ins. I have Molina and have never had issues with them.

Go to Parkside Dental and ask for Dr. Rodgers... you will love the office and the people there very clean and very up to date... you don't feel like your in a dentist office plus they know what they are doing!!!!

I like Dr. Colasanti at 5 and Farmington. I didn't know how great he was until I had to have an emergency root canal. He treated me so well, including opening his office after hours just for me to relieve my pain and not charging me for it. And when all was said and done... I have a crown that looks exactly like my tooth. He is great and fairly priced!

My hair dresser takes her kids to the Dental Clinic at U of M in Ann Arbor. I'm sure it is a lot cheaper than going to a dentist and I guess it depends on what you need done.
