Another vote for Alicia Sorum! And depending on your location for a farrier, look into Brandon Amos. He's worth every penny and is the best to work with. My horse's feet and movement have never looked better in the 10 years I've owned her since Alicia and Brandon took us on last year (and my horse is going on 19!).
Abigail S. replied:
Dr Harper or Dr Hess from Hess Equine. I believe Dr Harper is mainly practicing chiropractic/equine acupuncture now, instead of diagnostics, but I could be mistaken. Took me consulting three different vets to diagnose my lame horse correctly, and Dr Hess was the one who found the cause.
Jill S. replied:
Dr. Mark Donaldson@Unionville. He is awesome for lameness
Laura P. replied:
Dr Harper does do acupuncture and chiropractic work, but she is capable of doing x rays and is also an awesome vet in addition to doing those services.

There is an article in the "Carroll Magazine" entitled "What the Well-dresssed Pet is Wearing. " It mentions a few vets that use the holistic and acupuncture approach. There is also a fb page called Sparky Speaks. Sparky's person does acupuncture and holistic medicine...he might be able to point you in the right direction.
Any of my FB friends in Westminster know of a good (and reasonable) vet?

Theresa actually found him, he is so cute, and they went and picked him up while I was at work. They brought him to me at work and told me that Chris, Theresa's hubby got him for her.
