I find Zona Blue in Weston quite romantic with personalize treatment from the staff. Food is amazing. If you want to go to Miami, The Rusty Pelican has a lovely view of Downtown. Romantic and great food. You should ask for a window table.

I think most places around here are texmex or Americanized versions of Mexican food. Taqueria Jovenazo in Pompano Beach is a real deal hole in the wall. Not pretty to look at but the grandma is cooking, the daughter is serving and the granddaughter is bussing. Really amazing food! If you don't speak Spanish you're gonna have to point at what you want on the menu though. I recommend it 100%

Best place is in Palm City off I95 exit 102 and turnpike called Olympic Diner in the publix shopping center. When you are up that way passing thru it's worth the stop. Enjoy.
