All I can tell you is to not use Billy's Tree Service. They consistently have shady business practices including "accidentally" starting to cut down a tree at the wrong address and then attempting to charge the owner. I've witnessed it once first-hand and had someone tell me they had the same experience. They tried to be slick about it, too, by using the excuse that they transcribed the address incorrectly. Ex: job is at 1167 Main St. and they start cutting down a tree at 1176 Main St. I could buy this as an honest mistake, but when it has happened more than once and you just start cutting instead of first talking to the homeowner to confirm that you are in fact at the right address, red flags go up.

Ive used Northeastern tree service several times. The last one, a few weeks ago, they took a while to finally get the job done, but they are professionals and the price is fair.

Went to school with these guys - fair prices and good work - might be worth a shot http://s518637018.initial-website.com/about-us/our-team/

TreePro is my go to. Small Mom and Pop type operation. Very well priced compared to the bigger players. They do great work and are friendly to deal with. I have had issues with almost every tree service I've dealt with. They take a while to finally get to you, they take a while to get the work done etc. I think a lot of them are fairly busy and sometimes prioritize the work and you may not be at the top of the list. TreePro!
