Go to Great Supply Company and buy 25 liters of sodium hypochlorite (around R125) and pour in a litre every evening until clear - use at night because sunlight breaks down the chemical too fast. It will clear pretty fast. Once clear you can use one cup daily. Be warned, its really strong bleach so be careful of your eyes and skin when handing.

Apart from regular back wash and our mx8 machine running, the only stuff we use in our pool is "Activator D" maybe every 3 months and in winter can go up to 6 months. We have a huge pool. That is all we use.
