Check out Cookstreet.com , they have a great event for kids in the fall, I believe that they still offer a class for building a Gingerbread House around Christmas.

Does anyone know of a kid friendly patio restaurant either for brunch or lunch? I need to get my kids out of the house, and I guess I should feed them too.

Any local seafood/steak restaurant suggestions in WR/Arvada? No Red Lobster's and the like, thanks!!
Mandy B. replied:
Luke's, A Steak Place - Had breakfast there and it was good. I really like Black Hat Cattle Co but it's up in Kittridge.
Lisa B. replied:
The Keg at CO Mills. So good. Pricey but worth it.
Ondrea M. replied:
Simms Steakhouse at 6 th and Union (Lakewood) would be my choice. Great patio and views of the city. There is Keg at CO Mills mall - they have good steaks - their seafood is okay. Bonefish Grill at CO Mills as well. We had horrible service and horrible food at Luke's - but we know others who love it. if you go a bit further - the Chart House on I-70 has good steak/seafood and only a few minutes up 70.
Hi all- are there any Indian restaurants in Wheat Ridge proper? What about Thai?
Allyn D. replied:
Amanda, there is "Real Thai" by I-70 and Kipling (still in Wheat Ridge I believe)...we went a couple of months ago, it was pretty good
Jessica D. replied:
Real Thai is ugh ok I get it because it's close but we have a Thai friend who makes amazing food so might be spoiled Whatever pattaya Thai on wads used to be was the best ever haven't had it since it changed US Thai is the best just sometimes the spicy level is inconsistent Yak & yeti is the best Or go to the Krishna temple restaurant 14 th & cherry in park hill
Anthony M. replied:
Bangkok Thai food is 20 th and Wadsworth. Best Thai in my opinion
Joel H. replied:
Yak and Yeti on Ralston Road. Great Indian food - especially if you order from the menu and skip the buffet.
