Meet Faith! This tiny little nugget was brought to our attention via a fan on Penny The Peanut Pibble's page sending us a post. Faith is in a small town in California...

I hope Faith has a long, bright future. All animals that aren't in a loving furever home are special needs as they all need a home. Dr. Glass of RBVH in Red Bank, NJ has been working with Lisa Jones and Super Hero & Zeke(cats). Maybe he can give some advice.

I thought you might all be interested in a post on a FB page called Rescue-Watch, administrated by a woman in NJ no less and commented on by many of her friends. These comments are from a post on their page attacking another rescue in NJ for saving animals with Hydrocephalus. Maybe people would like to respond?? I think their position and one supported by the page are appalling and surely do not represent the role of a page that claims to be animal advocates!! Mary Santos "I think it is ignorant of someone to adopt animals with special needs...Needless to add the amount of money donated by the public OVER 20k for medical bills when hundreds of animals can be helped with that amount of money is selfish and repulsive. These animals quality of life being in the hospital is sickening...Then the drama always posted of trying to keep these animals alive makes one wonder is it in the best interest of the animal or the human?...It is so sad that so many animals with an illness that can be cured are denied help because of rescues such as this one being eluded to. If you want awareness try bringing awareness to the animals in the shelters that are healthy and being killed everyday. Bring awareness to those shelters that have a 501c3 that help defray the cost of medical attention for animals. Bring awareness to the inhumane treatment of animals in the shelters. Awareness for a disease that is very expensive and has no cure is not awareness at all...The only awareness you brought is how costly it is to keep an animal alive with this disease and how demanding it is on a human to maintain the animal both physically and financially. Just pathetic how much more can be done for so many more animals...!!!" Linda Funt "(The MRI showed the animal has no cerebrum) HAS NO BRAIN so there is nothing taking over as per her. Funny thing is acts just like a normal ( animal). Do you know how many other animals can be helped with the amount of money? The end result of this condition is death there is NO CURE!... Sadly there is NO CURE for this disorder and it is terminal in animals. A post (on the rescues page by a woman with hydro) stated she has it and suffers daily with headaches. An animal cannot tell you they are in pain. All that is being done here is extending the animal LIFE of PAIN which is NOT a GOOD QUALITY OF LIFE for these animals with this disease. I guess that is why when it is severe MOST VETERINARIANS RECOMMEND HUMANELY EUTHANIZING. Why RBVH (Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, the same one that did Haylue's surgery and more than likely I would assume where this puppy will go) has not insisted on this is beyond comprehension."
