Call Toledo handy Man. They did a lot of work in my house when I bought it and did a good job.

I can steer you clear of a few. Aarnolds damaged my property and then forced me to file a claim against them. Avoid at all costs. S and B construction was a nightmare to deal with as well, shoddy work and awful employees.

Is the contractor Shawn Horvath by any chance? We hired this guy and had exact same experience. It was a total nightmare.

Just remember the old adage "you get what you pay for". Nobody wants to pay too much, but everyone wants too pay too little.
The handyman companies know a little about everything, and know everything about nothing. I've seen work where the homeowner is thrilled, everything works, but to a trained eye the work is garbage and dangerous. I did a job today for a home improvement company involving vinyl siding and electrical issues they were unsure about, they called my company/me and we took care of it, good for them. A lot of handyman companies would fudge the work.
Ask if anyone doing electric has a City of Toledo journeyman license-and call building inspections to follow up on it, even if the work isn't in Toledo. It's expected they'd at least have it in NW Ohio as a minimum. If not you're getting Larrys cousin who watched a show about wiring on PBS last Saturday.
