Not many drs in the area can prescribe meds (pain,anxiety,depression) as a primary dr due to being contracted by a hospital (their regulations & gov't). So he/she will refer you a neurologist and/or pysch dr. I work for Community Care Network & that's how it's becoming. If you need info on Drs let me know. Good luck!
