Let It Be foundation is amazing! Definitely check them out. There's also one through Serenity House on Grand in Covina. They have a charity that provides basic supplies to foster parents taking on babies in foster care. One that is one of my big faves is My Stuff Bags. They provide individual duffels filled with brand new, age- and gender-appropriate toys, books, a stuffed animal, school supplies, clothing, personal toiletries, and a warm, often hand-made “security” blanket – all theirs to keep, to kids in shelters and foster homes. Since they rarely have anything that's theirs, this is something for them to keep. They also take plenty of things besides monetary donations.
