Dr. Spiller was my dentist for my entire life, until he went to Star Image. I go to Dr. Fritzsch@Stone Lake Dental by the Family Y, and she is awesome. She has small hands and is very gentle!

Shelly Strohman. I'm also terrified of dentists cause most numbing meds don't work on me. She was very understanding, found a numbing agent that worked, and is always very gentle. She'll talk to you about why you're so nervous and do all she can to alleviate that.

Dr. Spiller is a very laid back, fun guy. I have the same kind of anxiety when it comes to the dentist and I promise you that he will make you feel comfortable. Butttt it looks like there are PLENTY of qualified dentists to be named. So, whoever you choose.. Let the dentist or the aides know how uncomfortable it is for you to be there. You'll get a little bit of special treatment.:)

La Casa Dental on Loop11 is great! And prices were excellent with delta dental paying their part. Ours is usually $50 or less. And the staff is so sweet. The dentist pulled my husband's tooth out so fast he was still whining about him doing it and it was already done and over. He didn't even know it! LoL

Dr. Curran is who I use. Don't know if they take Delta Dental. I do know that Community Health care clinic is based on your pay. Several DDS that I worked with at the base have started working there ! Dr. Barnett & Dr Gulbranson . Both very good! Best of luck, keep me posted. I'll help if I can.

I was not impressed by Dr. Newman or his office staff when I took my daughter there for a cleaning and evaluation for braces. Have since heard lots of bad reviews from others.
