when i was looking for my therapist, i went to my insurance provider's website and searched through them. you can look by location, look for specific gendered providers, etc. additionally, psychology today — and definitely ask your dr if you see a primary care provider. that's how i found mine (my dr gave me a few business cards and i emailed them all for consultations) and i adore her.

You can search for therapists in Wichita online at Psychology Today. You can also filter on a bunch of criteria like insurance providers, issues, language, etc. https://psychologytoday.com

The Wichita Psychology Department has a training clinic (different than the WSU counseling center) that is really cheap.

If you have a primary care physician you trust, you can ask them or their office for recommendations for a psychotherapist.

I've used Amanda Schneiweiss for about 6 years now. She is amazing, not downtown though so she doesn't quite fit the requirements. She has helped me deal with my marriage, kids, social awkwardness, depression, and anxiety. It's been one hell of a ride and she has worked through it all with me. You can find her at [gottalovetherapy.com](https://gottalovetherapy.com). You can direct message me with questions.

I've been going to Tiffany Lemon at Haus of Clarity for a year. I think she's been a great help and I feel like I've learned a lot about how to handle my anxiety and depression from her over that time. She also does hypnotherapy if that's an avenue you're interested in. I'm pretty convinced it works.
Any recommendations for a good but inexpensive massage place/therapist?

Linda Frazier at NovaCare at Central & Rock is great. $50 for 1 hr. Therapeutic massage (not namby-pamby aromatherapy massage) and she really gets the sore spots.

Massage Envy is great.
