There are are only two top avian vets in our area, Diane. One is in Ocala, and we go to Tina Merritt at Lady Lake Animal Clinic on 441 just past Kohls. We have a Quaker parrot, Bubba, and have been going to her for 10 years. She and the staff are gr eat........I believe she told me she has her own aviary with like 100 birds !!! She's very strict about diet and care........ ours had to attend her Parrot Weight Watchers group once because he's gotten overweight. NO CARBS !

Call Jefferson Animal Hospital and get their emergency number for commerce.

Jefferson/Commerce have an emergency number. Just call and the number should be on the message. Shannon Vet Services will accept credit cards. A vet is on call there also. We use Shannon but have used Jefferson/Commerce.
