Does anyone know of plans to add major cornerstone restaurants to the Merrimack Outlets in that area you immediately pass on the left when entering? The most successful...

Chairman Best typically only becomes aware of projects when they are formally submitted to the Planning Board. With regard to Merrimack Premium Outlets, there are 2 upcoming projects. The first is to subdivide the parcel that the facility is on into 2 lots for financing purposes. The subdivision is on the Planning Board's June 2 Agenda. The ZBA granted a variance to allow for this subdivision in 2013. The subdivision does not include any further development of the property. Assuming the approval of the subdivision, I expect that MPO will submit an amended site plan for the next phase of development at the Outlets, which would be approximately 100,000 square feet of additional retail space. The "pad site" at the left of Premium Outlets Blvs as you enter the development is seperate from the MPO project itself. Simon Properties has been marketing the parcel for some time. There is some initial interest in the pad site to develop it in accordance with the concept plan that was done several years ago...which would include a 200 room hotel and 3 freestanding (5,500 square foot) restaurants. Any development of the pad site will require Planning Board approval for a site plan or plans for the components of the development. At this point there is no timeframe for the development of the pad site.

I have been asking this since it went in! What a crappy design to only have "food court" food at such a nice outlet mall. The restaurants need to be attached at either end, not down the hill where you have to drive between the two. Dinner and shopping options will really liven up the business there. Capital Grille is too much $s in my opinion. Something more along the lines of T-Bones or Common Man would be perfect for NH.
