My local Lawn Doctor branch has them for free in a bucket outside their office so you can mark sprinklers before they aerate. Other services should be similar

I got mine from amazon but be aware that they do rust, I had them stashed in the back and was surprised at how fast the rusted. Not that it makes them unusable though

I've made them with wire from shirt hangers and white duct tape folded / stuck to itself at the top.
