After reading Ali’s post I feel compelled to write and share that Dr Sheehan’s care of my husband during an unexpected medical emergency was completely negligent. When I finally had my husband transferred to BWH, the drs there were appalled at Dr Sheehan’s handling of his case. I would also be very leery of using him for a PC.

Thanks Ali and Marsha for the honest feedback. This is an impt decision, so I'm very glad I asked for feedback. I've canceled the appt with Dr. Sheehan and we are going to try Dr. D'Ambrosio at Harvard Vanguard Medford. There seem to be very good reviews of that medical facility. Thanks again!

I also use the Medford practice at Harvard Vanguard in Medford. Dr Geary is my PCP but when she is full or not available for a sick visit I see Dr. D'Ambrosio. He is very kind and attentive. I highly recommend that office and Nurses Janet Flory and Beverly Ketchen.

Thanks everyone. I ended up going with Dr. Sheehan. Dr Guerra doesnt have openings for physicals until Feb 2015. Dr. Markowitz isnt accepting new patients. And, we prefer to stick to someone in Winchester (rather than Burlington or Medford). But, I appreciate all of the responses!!

Hi Carrie Beaulieu Shusteff, As an RN, I was concerned with the standard of care Dr Sheehan delivered to my family. We transferred from the practice after two visits. I would not recommend him. Happy to provide details if you'd like to PM me. Found a great practice in Reading.
