Anyone have a rec for a walk-in hair salon that does a good job with kids? I'm kind of over Snip-its. Thx!
Sarah G. replied:
We see Aron, who rents a chair out of Salon Europa next to Dag's. First person who can really cut boys hair. Been to hair cuttery but have been butchered by a few...others were ok... He's tough and all business, but my kids listen to him, are quiet and he does a good job.

We love Nancy's Family Salon in Medford - she does a great job with my two and their curly mops! Similar price to Snip-Its, maybe slightly cheaper, but she actually cuts their hair properly, and they still get to chose a little gift from her treasure chest
Suzy R. replied:
BTW if you really like your kids hairdressers, would love it if you could give them a review on http://hulafrog.com/burlington-winchester-ma/ - and I'm sure they would love you for it too!

Ask for Julie at Shear Perfection

Tony's All Sport Barber Shop, in Arlington across from the movie theater. Sports theme, compressed air to blow off clippings, and a good cut. My boys like Tim a lot. Refuse to go anywhere else.
Dara B. replied:
Out of sheer laziness, we did the Hair Cuttery (on my way to Whole Foods!) $39 for 3 kids' cuts, 35 mins total including a short wait, and super cute cuts! I realize it's hit or miss at these types of places, but I'm very happy with the results. Thx everyone!

Angela Maddaleni Winn is amazing and is the only one that has been able to do such a great job with my little guy. And my son is tough!!!!!
