When the camping season comes to an end I'll be looking to stay in Cumbria in a couple of different B&B's in November time to enjoy and absorb Autumn and all it's...

I can really recommend Cockermouth Stephen . 12 or so miles from Buttermere, have stayed in The Allerdale Hotel for 15 yes. Very welcoming and do a smashing picnic. Keswick is just upt road and Crummock Water just round the corner from Buttermere or over the Howes. Wherever you decide enjoy its magical.xx

In Buttermere itself you have 2 pubs/hotels - the bridge and the fish. There's also Buttermere Youth Hostel which is beautiful. There are a couple of holiday cottages - Cragg Farm, Wilkinsyke Farm, Bowderbeck and some more privately owned ones. If you enjoy camping though, Cragg Farm have a camping barn as well. Worth checking out. Hope you find somewhere xx
