Anyone know a veterinarian? I can't get ahold of emergency clinic and need to ask a question? Not an emergency now but could potentially be.... Thanks!!
Friends in the Winfield/Teays Valley area, who do you recommend we use as a veterinarian?

Dr Maybe in Winfield. We took our Yorkie there. We have also used Valley Vets and they have been great as well.
Jenny T. replied:
Valley Veterinarian is great! We went to Godfrey before that and he wanted to put our cat down 6 years ago for a UTI. Luckily we got a second opinion from Valley!

We use Cross Lanes for the cats.....love them.

We go to Cross Lanes Veterinary Hospital.
Lauren R. replied:
We go to Dr. Mabie in Winfield (Country Roads Veterinary). He's not the most tech savvy person, but he's great and calm with our dogs. He's also helpful on a budget. He's referred us to Cross Lanes Hospital when he couldn't solve problems or things are out of his realm of knowledge. And we liked Cross Lanes too -- the bad thing is you see a different vet most of the time, and some of our visits were for chronic issues, that I felt like I was telling the same story 50 x. Cross lanes is $10 more for office visits so we go to Mabie for the general visits. And then for 2 nd opinions at Cross Lanes. One of our dogs has hip dysplasia and skin/stomach/food allergies. We've even had him to Columbus for TPO surgery on his hip... so we've been around. I don't want to tally up what we've spent on him.
