I've hired a local one before. She was a student still and just finishing up, I commissioned on of those wax seal type pendants made out of metal. I think because she was a student, the price was very reasonable. So I wouldn't discount looking in your area too!

(He often pictures the wax that he uses to cast the pieces from rather than the final products in his pictures, but the casting I received came out with all details intact.) Another option is you could make a post on the Shapeways (custom 3 d printing) forum, looking for a 3 d modeler.
