I hope this is o.k. to post (my son is my first child and probably only child if what he has is hereditary)
Does anyone know of a good pediatric neurologist in Orlando...
Karen J. replied:
I love Ronald Davis! He is near Sand Lake. He works with APH. Has your son been evaluated by Early Steps? If not, PLEASE set up an appt ASAP. They will coordinate therapy and between them and your insurance, you will not pay out of pocket for therapy till the age of 3. My son has a lot of neurological issues, so I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. I would also recognize getting seen by Katrina Lesher at APH, she is a physiatrist who specializes in spasticity and movement Feel free to PM me if you want to talk

Karen Fisher Jacobson, he wasn't able to be seen by Davis but he's going to be seen by some other doctor that works with Davis.
Karen J. replied:
Yes you can! You are an awesome mom for being proactive and searching for answers! Between now and the appointment keep a log of what you see that is concerning to see patterns, and write down All questions that come to mind. Most likely you will be asked to get a sedated MRI....if at all possible, go to APH. I can even recommend anesthesiologists! Might also go EKG as well. I highly recommend also being proactive and getting an appointment with Katrina Lesher at APH. She is a physiatrist and rehab dr. While Davis will tell you what te issue is, Lesher will work with you on helping your son overcome the issue.
If anyone knows a Physical Therapists or Physical Therapist Assistant, I am looking to hire. I have 4 positions available in the Greater Orlando Area.... Thanks!!
