Secluded camping in the Pine Barrens? My friends and I want to do some hiking and camping in the Pine Barrens. Can anyone recommend a place to do go that's more...

If you have available kayaks or canoes, plug these coordinates into google maps to find a nice little island: 39.628267, -74.643647 Otherwise, there's a nice little place called Batsto Landing that's at 39.632060, -74.644501 Happy camping!

The Wading River is pretty awesome, and it has multiple campsite areas along its banks. The trip is pretty long from beginning to end, and the water at its deepest would be around 10 ft. from my experience. This particular river, and canoe rental company exemplifies the perfect weekend camping trip. http://www.mickscanoerental.com/

Bodine Field is great for primitive camping, there are no set campsites so you're free to set up camp wherever. Also there aren't any rusty metal firerings to distract from the wilderness experience either. You can find out more information here - http://camptrend.com/bodine-field/
