Might try Garden Hood on Boulevard, about a block south of Memorial. It's small, but they have some good stuff.

Intown Wholesale Nursury in Tucker. It's not in town and it's not wholesale, but it is a local small business and they have lots of landscaping plants.

Home Depot is an ATL headquartered business, employs tons of people in the ATL area :). They have a big succulents section too.
