I had Dave Shaw on a one to basis with my whippet. Never looked back. Such clever ideas, easy to carry on without him afterwards. I attended his group classes in Beoley with her also. This is going back 16 yrs ago and his reputation is going on strong unfortunately my Lou Lou isn't. Good Luck x
Dave Shaw is very good but not sure if he has a class in Bromsgrove he's based in Worcester but he does classes in Beoley hope you get sorted my 2 springers we're terrible on a lead but over time and a lot of patience they got much better x
Shaz B. replied:
Try. Hevs Happy Hounds in Bromsgrove. Look up her website and text her. Or Vicky Davies from Redditch.
Can anyone help Claire?

Jim Greenwood who works with Greyhound Rescues and Lurcherlink covers most of the UK and is only in Cheshire so quite close. He is amazing! Look on his website J&J Greenwood.
Violet O. replied:
You have to be really careful with behaviourists as anyone can call themselves one and some can use aversive training techniques which often make matters worse. This is the accrediting body where you'll find one with the correct qualifications: http://www.apbc.org.uk/ - good luck!

If you get a referral from your vet, Kate from here was great with us, always calling us to check how we were getting on Based in Chester http://behaviouralreferrals.com/

Can I recommend Clare Green? She is backed in Lymm, Cheshire and I don't know how far her 'patch' reaches (she is also very busy) but she helped us with Billy Bob who was also anxious around other dogs, etc. claregreenemail@yahoo.co.uk

you could try Julie Hamblin on my friends list, 'I've heard she's good. I've never used a behaviorist or trainer for my dog so can't say from experience x

The IMDT are good. They have to refresh their qualifications every 2 years so the methods are always current and force free http://www.imdt.uk.com/find-a-qualified-imdt-trainer.html
