Phat is a straight up wacko who only knows how to do ONE haircut. Go see Joel at Oddfellows in the back of Pro Skates on Quinpool, he's awesome. Fair price, super clean cut. Make an appt. online.

Not sure if you want to venture outside Halifax but there's this new place in Dartmouth at the Mic Mac called Tommy Gunn's. I've been twice. They have excellent service! Can't recommend them enough.

I get my and my kids hair cut at Sailor Bup's. I really enjoy the people and the environment, and I enjoy their online booking system https://sailorbupsbarbershop.resurva.com/book (I don't think they do walk-ins any more).

I get mine cut at Bup's, as does my roommate. Awesome cut, great price, but it's a busy spot so you do need to book an appointment. Walk-ins are pretty rare.
