Arkadia and Dukes have appalling vegetables and meat and Dukes alwys stinks of rotten meat, but they are both good for dry goods. The veggie man in the parking lot has great veggies as does the one opposite Miracle foods Fresh something) this is open all day so very convenient but the veggie man in parking lot is only there till 1. If you want good quality meat ie grass fed beef go to Miracle foods its all frozen but the quality of meat is really good or find a good local butcher. I have started eating less meat since coming to Gozo as I find the quality really bad but thats just me. The lighthouse supermarket in Gharb is good for a good selection of dry goods as ids G & R . Lidl is good for dry goods and cheese and butter and salamis and junk food. Just a tip, when shopping in Gozo you will realise that they dont put everything on the shelves in the same place so if you look in one place dont assume they dont have it look elsewhere as they seem to stock brands together rather than the items. If you want really good imported Italian cheese and wine go to Abrahams for a treat.
