Shelburne VT used to have a neat steakhouse in their old Post Office. Bretton Woods has a slopeside restaurant called Latitude 44. We had the best twice baked potatoes there, loaded with veggies. Across the road from the ski area is Fabyan's in the old train depot, from the days when tourists flocked to the mountains by train.

There a great "slope side" ski lodge on the the way down at Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine! Wonderful place to get some sun shine on your face, a bit of a rest and a bite to eat!:)
